Owl + mother wisdom

My owl painting is finished and it is a large painting. I love it´s warmth colors and tenderness.
I was looking at my painting, wondering why an owl with a baby?... Mothers and owls have lot´s in common, the wisdom, the intuition, the safe keeping of their babies.
Motherhood is the act and practice of love and the passing on of knowledge.

Owls are sacred keepers of knowledge and children are the future of our society and their mothers are guardians of that future. They pass on their knowledge through symbols, through storytelling, by teaching their values and beliefs, in ceremonies and family celebrations, while dancing and singing songs.
I feel true honored being a "mother owl" with this special role to share my wisdom with my children, but also very grateful for all the knowledge built and carried out by all of my forefathers and ancestors until today.
